History of Oman Airlines

1970 saw the founding of Oman International Services (OIS), the parent to Oman Air. The company began civil aviation ground handling at Beit Al Falaj Airport.

At Saeb International Airport’s new terminal, OIS relocated its activities in 1972. In 1977, the business acquired Gulf Air’s Light Airplane Division. In that year, it launched its Plane Engineering Division.
