- There are no fees for changing, canceling, or getting your money back.

Seat Assignments of JetBlue
As of May 15, 2022, there have been some changes to the paid seat map for JetBlue. EMDs won’t have to confirm free ($0) seat assignments in any GDS anymore. As part of this change, you won’t be able to assign Even More Space (EMS) legroom seats through the GDS for a short time. Customers with Blue Basic will still be able to buy seats in the Economy cabin that don’t have extra legroom. Later this year, there will be a way for Travel Agents to get back access to Economy EMS seats and Mint Studio.
- We don’t need EMDs anymore for free seats, which used to priced at $0 and marked with a “P” for Paid.
- Blue, Blue Extra, and Blue Plus customers get free Economy cabin core seats. An EMD is no longer needed because there is no longer a $0 fee associated with that seat.
- Paid Economy cabin core seats will be available to Blue Basic customers for a fee.
- Paid “P” seat map information will no longer shown for economy cabin core seats that don’t have EMS legroom.
- The GDS can’t used for EMS legroom seating right now. All EMS legroom seats will marked as taken, and any requests for seats will marked as “unconfirmed.” By going to jetblue.com, customers can upgrade to EMS legroom seating.
- Cancellations for EMS legroom seats must be made through the GDS. Your customer can change their EMS legroom seat at jetblue.com/manage-trips.
- Mint customers will be able to use free Mint seats. GDS will show Mint Studio seats as taken, but requests will be “unconfirmed.”
- There are free “preferred” seats, which are like Q seats.
- Travel Agents will have access to Economy EMS legroom and Mint Studio seats later this year.
